Do you think I will get an ounce per plant?

Supposedly ak-48 doubles in size if you flower when its 20". I kind of want to flower in a week, but 2 are only 6" and one 10". With my lighting setup, do you think I will still get an oz per plant? I will be getting a 400w hps light for flowering. I plan on using both the hps, 90w LED ufo, and a 2700k fluorescent 2 lamp 4 footer. I figure as long as I get an oz per plant that should last me until the next grow is done. an oz per month yeaaaa1124101902-00.jpg1124101902-01.jpg1124101903-00.jpg

You probably want to flower your plants at 1-1.5ft tall and top them. Don't let them get any taller because then they will stretch like a mofo and double or more in size. I guided my buddy through a grow and threw them (5 plants) into flower at about 2ft tall using a 400w HPS in a 3 x 3 x 6 tent. There were a few mistakes made along the way, but nothing too severe. Total yield was 5.14oz or something like that. We lost a half a huge cola to some white fungus. Lucky that the other buds weren't ruined as well. This time around, using a waterfarm with the 400w HPS and SCROG screen and hoping to pull well over 5oz from one plant. And we're only using flora nova bloom for the entire grow.

LOL, did I see you in ScottyBallz waterfarm PE grow? :) He has me growing two seedlings in waterfarms now that I'll be scroging as well. You'll do more than 5 zippers with a yielding strain.

To the OP, from what I see, I'd be patient and veg some more. Do some topping, some pinching, encourage new growth before flowering those. You can start flowering now, but not if you want a zipper per plant or more.

Yeah, I was glued to Scotty's grow journal. I've seen you there as well. How are your seedlings doing? What strains? My buddy and I are entering week 4 of flower with a Dinafem Power Kush. Ended up with too many budsites and not enough holes and an uneven canopy because he couldn't tend to them for 3 days. It's under a 400w HPS, so should get a decent yield regardless. Using only flora nova bloom has been working great. I'm sold.

Edit: @ OP, sorry to hijack your thread for a little.

Its all good, I was thinking about topping like you say serapis. I might even fim the tops instead to get 4 like mogie says in Fimming and Topping 101 on here. Also I plan on using the fox farms trio with the extra 3 for extra resin build.

Agree it's a little too soon to flower but if you're going to ScrOG you'll want to start some training soon. Topping and/or FIMing is an option if you have the space but if they go like mine it won't be necessary - ended up getting about 20-25 bud sites/sqft. About a week or so from cut, I think they'll do better than an oz /plant (guessing about 4 dry) but I run a 600W

Patience and knowledge is always good. They should more than double in height, if anything just read some threads and watch some youtube theirs a million vids on flimmin supercroppin LSTying you name it. Get all of the info you can. Some of these methods will hold you back a week or 2 as well.
