Thought this was joke thread lol I was like why would you not feed a plant you want to keep for years and are going to use for 100s of new plants lol why water it either lol

keep the moms on the veg nitrogen levels. lights on a 18/6 cycle is fine. 5 gallon or bigger pots and keep a fan blowing on the moms to keep the air moving and the plant healthy

Starving them of N makes NO difference in rooting times. I've tested it many times. In fact i encourage you to try it.
I just read a guide that completely contradicts what i'd read elsewhere and i see you're right. It recommends an N rich diet a week prior to taking clones. so I'll be doing that from now on and throwing that book away :)

theres always gunna be bullshit on the net sayen u should do thins that will not help u at all. it makes perfect sense to use high nitrogen nutes. its what gives the plant its green colour and is mostly used in veg.. so ya think ur moms in veg why not give it veg nutes lol. some shit online amazes me. atleast u got the brain to ask and look to other sources. most people will water there shit with bong water cause sum1 tols them it was good. +rep to you for not being retarded lol
