Do you get high before work?

Another social experiment here. Im wondering how many of you blaze before work and if it is socially acceptable in your line of business? And also leave a comment as to what it is you do at your job. No specifics necessary here.

For example I sell toys in a retail store and smoking weed before work is considered taboo amongst my coworkers.

Im a student. I work at a pizza place part time. Delivery, smoke and fly.

Have you ever seen the reality series "Black Gold"? I used to be a driller on a big jackknife rig like that only more dangerous. We would drill deep natural gas wells and set them ablaze on purpose so we could see how good of a well we had. It got hairy at times.

We were all growers and would burn one as soon as we got there. Called it our 'Safety Meeting'.

Even the state inspector got high. Every hole he would come out to test our blowout preventer. If it held pressure long enough for us to burn a joint of our home grown with him and give him another for later at home, We Passed!

I work at taco time. When I do, its not that much cause I always fuck up orders and shit. A couple of my friends do though.

When I was working I used to get really baked. That's prob why they got rid o me

haha im with rhymes... Im a pizza boy, i smoke every morning, afternoon, wait till work, smoke at work and after, everyone there knows including my manager, just not my DM. Although im pretty sure he knows lol. I automatically get every 420 off and they dont look down on me at all, as long as i do some work their fine with it. Usually they let me dick around, as long as i dont cause problems or say stuff in front of customers. Apparently recently ive been spotted by 2 ex's and a couple others on deliveries smokin a bowl.. helps with stupid customers alot too... especially when you forget a sauce cup (just one freaking sauce cup for 30 cents) and you have to drive 5 miles back and 5 miles out to them again for nothing.... bastards!

hell yeah. i stock produce at a super target. i stand there and stack fruit. its actually way more fun stoned because i make games out of it. im about to start being a baker at panera bread. im going to be working by myself overnight and will definitely be blazed every night.

it really depends on what strain you are smoking. i hate smoking an indica dominant strain and then working. i just dont feel like moving. last week i got a 50/50 hybrid strain from the dispensary called mendicino mist. it was advertised as great for smoking while being productive. i blazed it on my lunch at work and oh my god.. i swear my work ethic was doubled and i was so task oriented. it was incredible. next time i go in to the dispensary, i am asking them if i can get the name of the grower they got it from so i can get a clone or two..

i get high at work, its encouraged by my stoner boss( we build houses)

Nope. Not anymore. I wont concentrate on my work.

I work in auto parts sales and only me and one other guy smoke. If anyone found out we would lose our jobs. But they have only seen my prolly 3 times in the last two years when i wasn't stoned...my theory is that makes them think I always look like that.

I'm unemployed now... but when I was working I could NEVER work and be high at the same time. My jobs either involved working with heavy machinery or having to keep track of complex numbers.... both things were near impossible to do while high. I've been to work high TWICE... both times were trainwrecks.

I am a telecom engineer and burn before work, at lunch and all evening long. I am on call 24x7 too. i feel it helps me concentrate on my work .

i cook at a comedy club. pretty much everyone at my job smokes, or did at one point in their life. my kitchen manager doesnt smoke anymore but hes cool with it. i once asked him if he cared that i came in to the work christmas party baked outta my mind. his response was, "i cant control what you do before work any day for that matter. if you do your job im not gonna complain." been coming to work high every day since. like i said he doesnt smoke anymore. but i did give him a brownie for his birthday! he took it home with him, like a week later he told me that he shouldve only eatin it in halves or thirds. evidently i made good ones!

haha i just noticed what the 0% category says. i know this forum is based on weed, but thats just a good statistic to look at.

I do, but not as much anymore. I work in fastfood and I find it's easier to deal with asshole customers when I'm sober. But I still enjoy being baked at work because half the people that come through are baked, too!

Nothing worse than having to deal with someone trying to get free food or rip you off when you're high, though.
