Thinking about it, i think your right! maturing is probably the wrong word as technically once chopped its dead and if chopped when trichs are mostly cloudy to amber then they are degrading as they would on the plant, i think its the thc that degrades into cbn/cbd?! not sure which one lol!

While im here im gona ask a brief question as new to this and not sure where to post haha! i grew out some auto hindu kush from lowlife and thought it was excelent, so much so after a j i sat down and shut my eyes only to find i was unable to feel my body, anyway what i am wanting to know is: will a 12/12 kush strain be stronger (im guessing yes) and are all types of kush more or less the same as regards to effect, ie; master kush, burmese kush etc...?
oh and any advice wether to go with nirvana or DP?!

sorry if ive highjacked someones thread but im new here, im sure ill only get to use that excuse a limited number of times haha, anyway enough of my stoned rambalings

thanks for any replies/suggestions in advance

peace:joint:

I don't notice any change of trich color during cure, they seem to stay pretty much the way they are when chopped.

Wet and Dry there is night and day difference in the looks and potentcy of the trichomes but i wont call it maturing.

When the plant is harvested and smoked before its fully dried or cure the trichomes will be less eye appealing and potent but after its more dried and cured i think it gives you a better high and trichomes look alot different. Just 2 cent.
