do they ever scan infra red from planes?

ive noticed planes flying over my house. its warm upstairs during the day. but its also crop dusting season here. do they ever scan from planes?

Only if you are already under investigation and they are trying to gather more evidence. From a plane heat scan a pot grow wouldn't look any different than a jacuzzi. They don't go fishing for hot spots.

yea, if they have a reason to they might. They would like you to believe that they do it a lot more than they actually do, but the costs of flying a plane around with thermal imaging equipment isn't practical for 90% of states.

If you live in the states they need a search warrant to scan your house with FLIR. US Supreme court ruled Forward Looking Infra-Red was an invasion of privacy. Canada its free reign, england FLIR is allowed without warrant, Australia requires search warrants to use FLIR.

ah, i live in canada, im not too worried about it, its just usually pretty hot upstairs so i was a little paranoid.
