Do they actually grow faster in a hydroponic system?

I'm just curious if the great plant actually grows faster in a hydro system compared to soil or in coco?

IMO Hydro will defiantly grow faster and grow larger plant during veg but if a strain takes 8 weeks to flower in soil it will still take 8 weeks in hydro. You save the time on veg only.

just think of your coco as water, lol...
As someone growing multiple plants in both mediums, dwc blows coco away in terms of rate of growth I have found. Dwc can either cut down on your veg time or give you much bigger plants compared to vegging for the same amount of time in soil or coco. That has been my experience. I keep a few plants in coco so that a severe power outage doesn't completely destroy a grow cycle.

I had a 4 hour outage once and it scared the shit out of me.

Definitely grow faster in veg if done right about 2x as fast, my 4 weeks of veg in Rdwc give me 6 ft tall plants that I train into a scrog. 4 weeks in soil or coco is about half that. Thats my experience yours may vary.

This. veg time can be decreased due to increased rate of growth, but flower time is flower time regardless of medium (from my experience using soil, coco, and dwc)
