Do these trichomes look ready?

Seeds were planted September 15th. There are some brown pistils. A couple plants have more than others. I do see a few amber trichomes if I'm not mistaken but it was difficult to get a pic. These look cloudy white to me but I don't have an eye for it yet.

At barely over two months old, I think it's a bit early to be getting antsy. I don't really pay much attention to trichomes. But if you're scoping trichomes on the leaves, they're not going to tell you anything useful about how ripe the bud is. Focus on the bud calyxes, not leaves.

Zoom out a little and take pics that show entire buds, then take some of the entire plant. Trichomes are just one small piece of the puzzle.

You've got some time to go, but as @Fangthane says a look at the entire bud(s) would be helpful. I see white pistils, so weeks, not days.

Is that bug damage or just dirt?

I had some nutrient burn, I'm pretty sure and the leaves started turning brown. This is my first grow really, so I'm still learning. You really think weeks to go? I flushed them last week and have just been giving regular water not even ph'd for the past week.

Yep, lots of white pistils, a couple weeks at least, unless you start to get bud rot.

Should I start with the nutes again? And any signs or anything I need to be watching out for bud rot?

No, I would not re-start with nutes, at least not at full strength. If a portion of the bud changes color (goes black or grey) or you see anything that looks fuzzy, or like cotton, you need to remove it immediately, and a little above and below it. You can often tell by pulling on the affected leaves, if they come out easily, that's probably rot!

A bit to go, but too many dead leaves. Cut them out if you can. That may be the thing that accelerates your need to harvest. Maybe too many nutes along the way? Autos are sensitive. Who knows? You should get some decent smoke there.

Im gonna add to this .

If you find anything like listed above, spray it with 3% hydrogen peroxide before you touch it or youll spread spores EVERYWHERE.

Gonna make a salvageable little harvest, but you did burn it up. You got a bit to go before they're ready. Don't add any more nutes.

It wasn't ready, its still not ready, but the problem is you flushed it and now its cannibalising itself to survive.
Which is an issue because your bud is going to be yellow from the sugar leaf and its more likely to go to rot.

Also its got very little ability to photosynthesise now so it's going to be slow to mature.

I'd take down and trim the yellowest real tight rather than risk leaving it.

Going forward you can learn a lot from this.

1. Don't flush at all.

2. If you think its ready its probably got 3 weeks left

3. More feed doesn't equal better plants

4. Always clean up plant debris to avoid bugs and mould.

5. Judge its maturity on the bud structure not the trichs.

6. Breeders times mean nothing.

7. Patience Patience Patience

It's all a learning process.
You'll have better and better crops the more you grow.

Thank you. That is good information. I did trim the yellow leaves pretty well. So you recommend chopping them now to avoid rot or let them keep going? I don't know if you meant trim the yellowest leaves or chop the yellowest plant.

don't stress out
it takes more then just a few grows to get an eye for trichoms and they some times lie to you gauge your growth with a calendar most every seed company tell you the flowering time and if u think u fcked up some where in the grow add 10 days to the back end its more important to recognize deficiencies your doing great keep popping seeds what you need as a grower is confidence and you get that from popping seeds
get a journal write notes to ya self threw out all your grows none of us knew what we were doing when we first started either

There's only one pic that looks like the leaves still have life left and some use, you could leave that for a bit. Keeping a close eye on it.
