Do seeded plants take longer to finish?

I've had some hermie issues and all my plants are seeded. They seem to be taking extra long to finish, is this due to them being seeded?

Nope on both counts. 600W@15sqft. Sub's Supersoil and no burning or other issues. It will be 11 weeks on 17 Feb. Had some hermie issues and these plants will just not finish. I honestly appreciate the help trying to troubleshoot this one but I realize this isn't the right forum for that. What I was trying to find out is if seeded plants take longer to finish.

of course they do, pluck mature seeds out and the plant should mature a bit faster. as soon as you pollinate, bud growth takes a backseat to seed creation.

So my trichomes shouldn't take longer to turn regardless of pollination? I swear to god one of them was milky and is now clear again.

i completely understand that trichomes mature at a certain rate given any strain, but that does not change the fact that new bud growth will occur after most seed pockets mature and the plant continues to look for pollination, that means new bud growth, i've seen my 13-14 week sativa's get pollinated at 8-9 weeks into flower(i time pollination>seed developement>mature seed process to last about 4-6 weeks depending on strain) and still go till 15 weeks instead of being fully ripe at 14, most plants themselves take an extra week or two, plant will have all its seed pockets matured to a certain degree after 6 weeks pollination, regardless when in the flowering cycle you pollinate them, i prefer later for more seeds.

I actually haven't smoked in over 5 years. I decided I wanted to occasionally and have been waiting for this harvest. I hear what you're saying though, I would have a hard time believing me too.
5 years... i hope these f1's or whatever they are turn out nicer, its always good to improve your headstash, its never fun taking a go lower in quality just because it is convenient, and the fact that everything is feminised means you got alot of girls/herms to select from, kill the herms, even if they are good smoke, you want to have something stable, THEN select from the dank that is stable... less stress
