Remove the screw from the hinges and screw them back in their holes so you don't lose them. Same with lid strap. Store the lid somewhere.

The styrofoam insulation is at lowes or hd. 8x4 x1/12 or 2 inch thickness. Cut to fit with 4 inches overlap on all sides. Tape with reflective tape, not duct tape. Use a long skinny razor knife and cut around the netpot at 25 to 30 degrees inward slant so the pot does not fall through. Trim for a nice snug, flush fit.

You can use one of the cutouts for a air stone hose feed. punch through with a #2 prncil and push the airline through.

it's really easy and you'll curse rubbermaid everytime you see it from now on.

I use a rubbermaid too, I just used duck tape around it to keep the light out - I've heard tinfoil is a negative because it can burn the plants/absorb not reflect but im still a learner

lowes got a box its black and yellow lid the lid looks like it was designed for a system you just cut. the black box lets in no light its almost better than a real flood tray as well cit out its called the 27 gallon big box its really sturdy and better built than any other res out here for the money hands down.

Get spray paint made for plastic. Paint it black first for light, then white over that for reflectivity.

yield? won't know for about three weeks. i harvest in two weeks. whatever it is, it'll be enough,,,, one plant per cooler this round.
