Stick with the feed schedule ( start with 1/2 strength ) DONT try to guess the feed.
It works with FFOF soil and it works well. The listed ratios are too much for normal situations. Go with at least 1/2 strength , these nutes also salt up , so flushing is necessary.

So since Fox farm already contains nutrients for about a months I guess I would start on my 5th week with 1/2 the strength and how often do I flush

If using FFOF ( ocean forest soil ) , it's one of the most complete premixes out there. PROMIX ,Sunshine #4 , Roots organic are also excellent choices. But using their feed schedule as a " Guide " you can start the regiment with 1/4 or 1/2 strength to see how well the plants respond and raise or lower strength. If you see MINOR TIPBURN , that actually is a " good " sign because it shows you are at the threshold of Overfeeding and damn near on target.

You can flush with regular water or something like Florakleen , to dissolve salt buildup.
I don't need " bloom boosters " or " Bud Builders " , it would cause me new problems because of over nutes. ( even their Open Sesame , Beastie Bloom and Cha Ching are extremely HOT with the regular nutes ) . Beastie Bloom alone is ( 0-50-30 ) NPK.
That is way too hot for my girls so I only use maybe an 1/8 tsp.

If using soil nutes alone , you can begin feed around week 4/5 without issue , but stick with guide and start light.
Week 5 I introduce their FIRST feed because by that time the soil is becoming exhausted of its host nutes within. Sometimes the soil's PH goes south too , and may have to add lime to keep PH acceptable. FFOF is already PH buffered but it will drop off over time.

-- These were on a " water only " ( PH 6.6 ) for up to week 5 before even feeding. ---

Starting from seedling : You CAN begin feed as chart shows from seedling at 1/4 strength of listed ( teaspoon ) per gallon and as plant grows , start to increase to 1/2 strength as weeks go on. ( I find the soil only method without adding nutes is less stressful on them because you will see how nice the grow WITHOUT anything else added. )

You must FLUSH this line of nutrients - they salt up fast and will lock out.
If you are interested in an AUTOFLOWER feed schedule for FOX FARMS I will post it.

Peace :peace:

I use pro mix, HF and OF mixed all together and that feeds till Im ready to go into flower. (you'll want to be thrifty with your FF nutes as they can get expensive if you have alot of plants). I have always been a FF girl, bc its just a no brainer when using the soil and nutes together. I found that this line lacks cal/mag so I supplement with GH Calimagik (1/2 tbsp per gallon once I begin flwr). I ph'ed my water once and it ranges around 7.0 (pure water) and FF seems to like it. FF has recently added a few more nutes to the line : last year/maybe 2 yrs ago: Microbe brew, Kangaroots, Sledgehammer and Boomerang, Flowers kiss. THis year Wholly Mackerel and Kelp me Kelp you. I have used all of these except for the last 2. Some of these nutes arnt necessary to use imho. what I use: The trio (GB, BB,TB), boomerang, microbe brew, kangaroots, supplement of gh calimag and the trio soluables come flower. Perfect healthy plants. imo, any fish based nutes can give a nasty smell to the plants and taste. (many grows I've walked into using fish nutes reek of fishiness). I dont flush at all and never ad any buildup issues. How many plants are you doing, what kind of lights will you be working with?
