Do i need a lawyer?????please reply soon!!!!

I am currently facing a Felony-5 Manufacturing or Cultivation charge.
I have been told it will be dropped to a Misdemeanor.
Should i still hire an Attorney??? I was planning on it but im not sure if it would just be a waste of money in my situation.
Thanks in advance.

if you can afford a good lawyer, get one
this is the wisdom of the grow sites, always lawyer up
the system is corrupt, it feeds on money, if you can feed it money(in the right places), you will likely get a better deal

I probably would - I have had good luck one time with a public defender (he kicked soo much ass) but I think I just got lucky as shit. Also, I didn't even know who was my lawyer until like the week before, we just talked for the first time before court about the situation. Anyway, I would definitely hire a lawyer because it could mean the difference between jail and probation. No one needs to go to jail, that shit is beat.

There is no question on this, get a lawyer! They can work deals with the judge and help you out. If not you will just be standing there asking the judge to knock it down cus you are a good guy!

unless u met with the prosecutor and he offered the charge drop to u in writing anything can happen. dress up like slick Patrick Swayze and come up with some story telling judgy your life isnt worth wasting with a felony charge. like med school or something dude in my crew has gotten 4 possesion charges dropped in front of judgy. Possession is a lot different then cultivation though esp in oHIo, goodluck thuglife

What state?.....and it matters alot if your out on cash bond or O.R. A cash bond gives them immediate fine $..no waiting. It's not always worth a lawyer You can and should fire a Public Defender after you talk to them first...so make him do all the work(in the end your just a playing card to him so its not unusual to get very very bad advice because he's trading you to get someone else probation)...first, find out if your court has a habit of jail time or cash fines...if its mostly a fining court for pot charges then save your $$ for the fine...if they make a point of jail then yes hire one....Also if this is your first offense its doubtful you'll do jail time anyway.
Its really down to what state ur in. Lawyers suck dude...period...they could give two shits whether you go to jail after the check clears.
AND NEVER SAY A WORD.....EVER..look..if they raided ur house your going to jail right then...no way around it.....bond out....do not answer any other questions beside name n stuff. no matter what ..every time they ask repeat..."not without a lawyer" only those 4 words ...they will even joke to get a comment and that can be twisted..so Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

DONT BE A SNITCH!!!...they will make offers and promises..but in the end will not be any different than if you didnt snitch...dont help them ...they will not help you....they lie...remember that.

dont go at this alone you and your lawyer need to look at the law the situation that led to the arrest and to make sure all step were legally done then start looking at deals if that is the last resort
