Do i have to use nutes?

I just ordered a bag of fox farm light warrior do i have to use nutes or can i grow the whole plant using just water? my last grow was with miracle grow and it turned out great.

Mg soil comes with nutes. Check the FF bag. If still not sure contact or google the company.

Yes. it would be foolish not to.well actually, In a technical perspective you could, but i dont think you really want unhealthy and stunted growth.

looks like i will be using nutes.....that sucks i thought i was done forking out money but i know it will be worth it....almost be better to use miracle grow i grew great pot with it last time. had a really good taste.

even MG soil can use additional nutes if you want optimum results. But it's still not expensive to buy fertilizer. You don't have to buy that expensive premium crap that you see in specialty shops. Go to home depot or lowes and by some for a few bucks that will last you thru multiple grows. It doesn't take a lot of additional fertalizer for soil. just a little bit every couple weeks and you get better results.

nutes really are not that expensive, a 3 pack of liter bottles 1 each of of big bloom, grow big, and tiger bloom can be had for around 30-35 bucks.

Do you want a decent yield? Then you know the answer.

Your plants will completely use up the nutes in your soil by week three of veg and unless you want a low yielding, low potency plant I would definitely spend the extra cash on some nutrients. Think about it, if you have already spent well over $500 on your set up wouldnt an extra $100 or so be worth getting bigger, denser, resin coated buds as opposed to some fluffy halfway decent bud? For example, me and a friend grew clones of super silver haze taken from the same mother plant under similar CFL set ups; I used all six fox farm nutrients(cost me about $150) where he only used grow big. These pictures were taken during the 6th week of flowering and after a week of curing.

Spend the extra cash and buy some nutrients for your girls. I guarantee if you put in another $75-$150 your plants will give back well over the price you paid on nutes!

I spend about $10 a year on fertilizer. And that is only because I throw it away after one year and replace it even though I haven't even used half of it...

im just going to check out the local hydro store next week. im not going to home depot because i want all organic and ferts made for bud.
