Do I have to start a journal?

Too much hating in this forum.

I think CFLS do just fine for low budget growing.

of course it's my first grow but I'm impressed at how far my plants have come under some cfls

week 5 into flower. I do wish I kept a proper grow journal.
remember this...

the hate is reciprocal, not one-way. if you come here and make a 'help me' thread and pick fights with the people who help you, you are asking for an e-slap.

i never said never use cfl's but op said he did, with mg, and it was the best anyone ever has ever had in the history of people... yeah, no. cfl's will get you done, but are not ideal and never will be. product can be good, and good for you if it suits your needs. most people who have to pay, wouldn't pay for it.

if you are new, and new to growing, and you are polite and take time to read information we supply to you, and use google just a little, you'll fit in just fine, and probably do 10x better with your venture than you would with no insight.

what goes around comes around, and many here have been here for years. we know to look at join dates, post counts, and threads started. you don't get many second chances around here if you're trying to be a dick while asking for help.

thanks I've got 2 girls both native Landrace indica and sativa respectively.

I'm running about 150 something watts per plant. I keep them together and place in the centre of the plant. the sativa stretched a bit more than I anticipated and has been very difficult to manage but I've tied the top down between the indica and have the same 150 watts cfls mixed spectrum over the bent over plant growing out what I hope to be gluestick thick buds. I was naughty and clipped a very immature bud last night of the sativa dried with with my girlfriends hair dryer we totally 2 bowls each and we're properly grilled for about 2 hours. can't wait for the final product
Nice, be careful with that naughty stuff, you could end up only having a bowl left at harvest lol, so you are already up to 300w, I think @$bkbbudz$ runs a 400w hid setup, you can pick one of those up for around $140, if you think about upgrading anyways, you should give his journal a look and see what you think

I do run a 400w HID in a small tent with 2 plants. My last grow was my first using 400w...I previously used 250w pulled about 3 ounces every harvest. This last grow with the 400w I pulled about 6 ounces. Now of course I am looking to upgrade to 600w But, I think my tent is too small for that kind of wattage. I would have to get a much better fan for my cool tube and of course more wattage equals more electric cost.

Hey guys my auto assassin seed I ordered finally cracked this morning and I seen that nice white root sticking out. I am so excited to be growing again. It's been 4 years, I always grew with mg and cfl's and I always made the best weed.

It really does go to show that you don't need 400 dollars worth of stuff to grow a beautiful and very very pungent plant using only around 50 dollars at the most.

I want to post pics on here so all you guys can see it. So do I just start a new post everytime I put up pics?

my own recent attempts, waiting on a new bulb I rigged up this for a couple of days

here on my blog along with others by the membership: https://www.rollitup.org/Journal/Entry/a-collection-of-diy-ghetto-blasters.30154/

good luck
