DNA Sour Cream

Just thought i'd do a quick grow review of DNA's Sour Cream for the next guy who comes along.

I grew only a single plant from a single seed. I bought this when I was going through a phase of wanting to try a bunch of different breeders and varieties. I have experience growing DNA's Holy Grail Kush a few years back, but that was from clone. Grown in my water-only organic soil from a 4" pot, to a 1 liter, and finally in about a 4 gallon pot before flowered. I usually don't bother with trying to grow out a test run plant too much.

This plant had a somewhat squat structure with small inter-nodal spaces. She finished flowering about 10 weeks plus a couple days without too much stretch at all.My pheno had frosty, bright green, dense flowers that were quite easy to trim. Yield seemed on the mark for a hybrid. The stone is a great mix between traditional indica and sativa qualities, with a sort of generic slightly floral taste. I would rate the flowers at about a "B-" overall. The main negative thing was the smell of the nugs left much to be desired. The smell has been building as it cures in jars, but probably won't ever be what I'd consider loud.

I'd grow it again, but I have quite a large stock of seeds(its an addiction) that I need to grow before I can even consider it. I am certainly interested in growing out more DNA gear in general. Here's a picture of a little bit of it after the initial trim.

Ran a freebie a couple years ago - liked it. B+ I'd say, and would run one again. Hit a bottom branch w/ some Jilly Bean pollen, and have a small sack of Jilly Cream.....or is it Sour Jilly?
