DNA Genetics Holy Grail Kush & Dinafem Cheese 4 kw grow. Starting this journal late but a few days ago I finished the 3rd week of flower. I'm growing in 3 gallon smart pots of Canna Coco using Canna Coco A and B as my NPK and Aptus Plant Tech as all of my additives in a drain to waste drip system. I am running a sealed room so I keep co2 ppm's at 1300 while the lights are on with temperatures peaking at 84 degrees and 72 during the dark period. I am also using a trellis netting which I've secured to the 4 x 8 tray stands. With the trellis as the plants have grown I've been able to intertwine/manipulate their growth and bush them out so that I maximize my tops as well as keeping an overall even canopy. Both the holy grail and the cheese have been flowering with no signs of deficiencies and even better are both showing tons of resin and flower sites. They haven't been extremely thirsty with feedings once every two days but they're taking all nutrients and are already up to 1.5 EC with no sign of burn or excess. I switched over to Aptus Plant Tech about a year ago when I was given a sample from my buddy who owns a local shop and haven't looked elsewhere since. As you can see with the pictures all the plants are very healthy with nice lush green foliage not to mention all the frosted tops in beginning of 4th week!

Thanks man. Yeah I just sprouted 6 fem Kosher and 6 fem Purple Wrecks which I'm stoked to get going in next couple cycles. As for the Holy Grail Kush it's been a very vigorous growing plant. I've been able to push its nutes up rather high, already at 1.5 EC at the beginning of the 4th week of flower. It's definitely a fast growing plant so I would recommend flipping her rather short around 12" cuz she really likes to stretch. I've also recognized that her limbs aren't the strongest so trellis netting/stakes I would highly recommend. How's the Kosher growing as far as stretching and nutrient uptake? I've grown OG#18 a few times prior and have always loved it but definitely not seeing any of the OG#18 in the plants structure, if anything it looks very similar to all the pictures of Kosher Kush that I've seen. The flowers though are starting to pick up on that sour lemon fuel of the OG#18.

The kosher can handle lots of nutes,i grew 1 fem kosher outside in 65 gal smart pots pinched main stem once.The yeild was almost three pounds of super stinky goodness.Now i know i will have some douters on this but i took a sample up to the local dispensery, they do do testing on everything that they are considering stocking in the future.I was lucky and got there on the testing day so it was done with results the next morning.When i got there the tester was rather happy to see me and said that kosher tested higher than anthing they have ever tested,27% thc,cbd.20%,CBN0%,THCV1.00%,CBG1.00%,CBC.40%,THCA24%.Needlees to say i am stoked,it was grown with 2 tahoe og,1og kush.1blue widow,and 1 la con.

I will post the complete cannabinoid profile a little later, that is Kosher on the right,and og kush from reserve on the left.The og yielded 3.5 pounds.

That's crazy THC production especially on an outdoor grow. Good job! What nutrients/soil did you use? How long you grow them for and when was the harvest for the kosher n the reserva OG? Unfortunately I live in a beach town so property is scarce; can only fit one or two outdoor in my backyard and haven't even done outdoor last few years just to maintain low profile with neighbors. I do prefer growing outdoor as overall production is very cheap compared wit indoor growing, hopefully this year my buddy with let me grow at his property in the mountains. Keep up the good work! anyone with that THC content on outdoor is doing it right, even if that potency is in the genetics.

I used pura vida all organic two part,with budswell and a little calmag.Grown with roots 707 in the oregon sunshine.Thank you i am rather proud of that grow it was a great year for outdoor and yes the Kosher made me look good ,excellent genetics.That is in the back yard and it was a bit much as they were 8feet by 7foot around.I just bought five acres at 2100 ft and will be doing 18 to 24 plants in 150 gal smart pots,cant wait.Keep posting pics i want to see those at the end thanks.

Sick bro definitely gotta see some pics whenever you set that outdoor up this year. I'm going to try to upload some new pictures tonight or tomorrow but today is the end of the 4th week of flower and I have now increased their EC to 1.6 and they seem to be loving all the nutes still with no signs of overdose. I'm going to see how they respond over the next few days, but with how they're looking I will be increasing their EC to 1.7-1.8 over the next week or two.

Its day 28/29 and I'm seeing weight and frost building on all the buds. The first picture is of the Holy Grail Kush and the second of the Cheese. I'm very impressed with the resin production on both but more with the Cheese as I wasn't expecting it to have similar resin content to the HGK. I'll update over next few days.

Tonight is day 33 and there has been a bunch of progress. The room is now starting to absolutely stink! The cheese is surprising me as it has a reeking grape/GDP indica odor to it, I'm actually really excited to see its final odor and flavor as it really seems to have some grape pheno in there. The HGKs also are really surprising me with all the mass that they've been putting on and still have 4-5 weeks left! These pictures show all the colas I've been able to create thru utilizing the trellis netting as well as topping and bushing out....

Sorry been super busy last week or so and haven't had time to upload new pictures. I just took these pictures this morning, both the cheese and HGK are on day 44/45. Both of their resin production has been unreal, just completely frosted as the cheese's have definitely started to put on weight, but more than anything I've noticed that all the buds are extremely dense so I'm pretty stoked on that. The HGK's are giving off a very interesting OG pine smell along with like a sweet lemon its very interesting as I've grown OG#18 a few times but have no experience with the Kosher Kush so i'm very interested to see the final product. The HGKs have definitely put on their weight as well I'm pretty excited for harvest coming up in a couple weeks... The first two pictures are of the Cheese with the second two of the HGK. And I know that my reflective walls are all fucked up, I never use this stuff usually only white mylar but whatever it hasn't created hot spots. Happy growing ya'll!

Hell yeh looking good,they both look dank very frosty.I grew the privada og kush,and it smells nothing like the kosher,the kosh smells like sour with a twist of sweet cream my wife has a hand lotion that smells just like it,like a sour light musky lotion lol if that makes any sense.It stinks for sure.

my bad my dog knocked over my laptop and broke it so I havent been able to upload any pictures. Ive harvested the cheese and it looks phenomenal, real heavy indica smoke to it. I'm chopping down the HGK in a few hours, the buds def swelled and densed up a bunch in last 2 weeks. I'll post pictures whenever I get y computer working again. Til then I'll be working on my new flowers, Ive got more of the HGK in veg and got my buddies own cross called pezberry and pezband. the pezberry is a bomberry x orange pez while the pezband is the pezberry x grand reserve headband. Ive seen the flowers and they remind me of a cross of xj-13 that i grew out a few years back, it was a heavy yielder so i'm keeping my fingers crossed. I also got a couple blackwater og mothers from my buddy so i'll be doing those next round as well. and even more excited for the seeds that just popped- kosher kush, purple wreck and an amnesia og!
