DIY with Quantum Boards

also, if I set the wattage while they're plugged into 120V (voltage of power meter), how will that translate when I plug them into 240V (voltage of lighting controller)?

the light output will stay the same right? just the Watts/Amps will change?...
ok, found the answers to my questions here

KARMA IS A BITCH ....

Just when I was gonna move the BLUE GLUE to the 3000k rig ... My tent with the Tangerine Dream had a malfunction... Not with the QBs but the god damn booster fan .
I JUST BOUGHT this on the 20th and it died today ... Plug it up and nothing happens .
So I boxed that bitch up to do a drop off back to Amazon. They will send a replacement but not sure how quickly that will happen. Tent was getting a bit stuffy ( this rig is one with QB AND COBs ) so I had to shut that down. Temporarily of course.

I moved the Tangerine Dream into the spot that the Blue Glue was SUPPOSED to go so I will just have to make do. This a corner space fabbed up with VIVOSUN Mylar. The bounce effect of light is pretty prenounced and gives a strange infinite mirror like effect.

As you can see the 3000k is hella bright and plant is praying to Jesus.

I received my QBs for the second part of this rig but will begin working on this while waiting on new booster fan. This panel set of two boards will be independent of overhead and will be pot trimmed for power. This rig will be a bit different than the overhead one , I want to track mount so I can widen or narrow the spacing on the fly ... It's kinda difficult to explain it but once all is done then I will post. Sativas make you think up shit ... Sorry. Lol.

Hello everyone,

I'm interested in getting a QB 260W DIY Kit. So it is out of stock now

Could someone pls explain to me what the diff is between the
Horticulture Lighting Group 260 Watt Quantum Board LED Kit
and The 260W QB LED KIT (OOS) Thanks!

thank you, what is the diff between these 2 boards? QB288 QB304 what would you suggest
QB304 is 100V and can handle a max current of 1600mA; QB288 is 54V and can handle a max current of 3000mA. that's the main difference
sorry having "MORE" leds would be better? so the 304 would be better than the 288?
not necessarily. it depends on how hard you want to drive the boards, how many boards you want to want to run off a single driver, which driver you want to use, etc...

Ok I don't know the answer for sure
But I agree with your thinking that 304 sounds better lol
Better spread I'd think but probably not too big of a difference.
great! i will probably steer towards the 304. could anyone please clarify the difference? thank you all
the QB304 isn't 'better'... it has 304 diodes while the QB288 has 288, but the boards are the same size (same dimensions) and they have the same footprint (same spread). the main issue with the QB304 is that the voltage is 100V, meaning only 2 Boards can be wired in series. more than 2 boards in series will exceed the recommended maximum voltage of the board connectors (300V) and is not recommended
