Hey Jubiare.......So I haven't heard back from Hans yet........not liking how this is starting out(no contact/if I have warranty issues??):wall:

Anyways Spuzzum(ha remember him?) asked a similar question on his site the response was:

Thank you.
The Set-up is still just over 60 Watt: 1 XP-E Red at 350 mA is 2,1 Volt, therefore 2,1 * 0,35 = 0,735 Watt, also in flowering position the 3,2 Volt Blue Leds are at 120 mA, therefore only 0,38 Watt. Finally some of the Red's share the current with Blue ones, they are at 350-120 = 230 mA, 0,48 Watt. I hope this is clear?

But this was asked a long time ago........so I don't know if it is relevant to his new panel's...........happy growing

if that's the case, they are driven soft! But maybe it was some time ago isn't it? ;) .... yeah he seems so take some time to reply... I feel like the guy is really really busy those days! But he'll have to get some help with customers the soonest, no excuses! I am sure you'll hear from him sometime soon.

not necessarily so harshly, some new companies are doing much better than last year for instance.. I think the more there's choice around the better for everyone.. commercial can learn from Diy and vice versa .. but yeah, the pleasure of making your own is a nice feeling.

No Ocean I haven't; the Heatsink around the leds is barely warm to the touch.. up where the drivers are, little warmer. I drive 47 leds at 500Ma, plenty plenty of heatsink dissipating area! And only twelve driven at 700Ma... spaced out harmoniously...... I really should be fine. Optimal junction temperature, as from the datasheets, is 25 degree's.. if mine are operating around 35 .... we shouldn't have a problem. Am still waiting for a response from TheBongMaster. Thanks for your interest

third week flowering day 01 of 11,45h on - 12,15 off (don't know exactly why, any thought on the timing, should I correct it?)

nothing spectacular, but not too bad development; I had mentioned I have had PH issues being too high, that is wat I meant by neglecting the garden. It's a shame because the plants had a very good clean start, remember they have not been vegged as long as I had wished due to time restrictions.

This is what I have diagnosed as a mg def due to high PH. I have removed some of those fan leaves, but kept others, something like 50/50. I do not think it's the Spectra, yes it is more pronounced on plants under the spectra, but MEvo plants have it too.
Any thought from more experienced gardeners?

One emitter on the MEvo is off; I'll take care of that soon. Don't know what happened, funny thing is the current must be traveling through, otherwise string would be all off? (they are driven in series)

just to say, the plant that has less experienced the PH issues and/or Mg issues, presents flowers that are better developed.

I can't yet say nothing about any differences between the first half of the panel and the second half. In general MEvo plants present less issues than Spectra plants.
Distance from plants is 6/8" for MEvo. 12" for Spectra.
Temps are fluctuating between 71 and 76 Humidity 55/60% (extraction fan is set on a timer 15mins on for 30mins off, I'd have very low temps otherwise!

During the night: min 58F, humidity rises up to 85%. This is not good isn't it

You can notice the Spectra has two supplemental lights on the sides, not particularly close to the plants, this is for low temps more than anything! They are a 40w induction 2700k and a 45w cfl 5600k

I hope we are going to see nice days to come for the girls! Wish them luck!

Thanks to you all for watching

Mighty Wash has an excellent reputation for killing mites during flowering. Good luck with those filthy little bastards Jubiare! Kill em good!
