Ughh i went to lowes to search for the y splitters, or the multi fixtures. They looked at me like an alien, they SAID they never seen or heard of these items. So i had to make my own off the singles. Looks horrible FIY IMO!
They'll definitely have them at any hardware store, mine does. Or a Walmart. Definitely Home Depot or Lowes.

I went to walmart & couldn't find them, my home depot carries them for $2.50 a piece & they are in the bulb isle. They call them Y socket splitter/adapter

Love the DIY stuff.
Made 2 of these for the early flower period. Each has 84 actual watts working. (2 X 42w ea.)
Same as you, Home Depot. About $30 for the pair Plus bulbs.

Working way better than expected too.
How do you plan on separating the clones compartment from the flower compartment. In the pic's looks like you will have light from the clones on the flowering area. Maybe I'm not seeing something.

I can't tell you how many times this has happened to me. The employees at my local Lowe's have never heard of anything I ask about. About 90% of the time, I end up finding it in the store on my own. They hire a bunch of punk-ass kids that like to walk around and do nothing. (Sorry for the necro-post, lol)

This is also very true where I'm from. Nobody knows where anything is at these stores.

I just walked into an abandoned warehouse, took down three sets of lights, walked home with them.

:)
That's the way to do it! My brother is renovating his house.. i took his old vanity fixtures sheet metal he had in his gargage. Should be able to find to vanity fixtures almost free... Thrift stores and Salvation Army, Good Will, Valu Village... you name it! Nice job on this fixture! Looks really good and functional

Do you think you could list the name and/or model of that six socket fixture for around $10? Sounds like a steal.
Here's one from Home Depot.. however it's not $10 here in Ontario. Again you can try a thrift store... Restore type place....many of the rich folk give their old things away when they get to renovate their homes.
