Manufacture of a cloner

With this intention it will be necessary for you to get a minimum of material, here is the list:

- a pump of aquarium of average size (for an aquarium of 40 minimum liter)
- 80 cm of pipes of irrigation of the same diameter as the exit of pump water - two stoppers of the same diameter as the pipe
- an end for pipes in form of T (always to take care has what it is the same diameter as the pipe well on)
- Two asperseurs Rotatifs
- 20 small hydroponic baskets
- a Vat, hydroponic tank or bucket of 25 be 30 liters and a thickness minimum (not to let pass the rays of the sun has through!) (the vat must be delivered with a tight lid!!) To start, provide with your visseuse/perceuse, connect your apparatus.

To take the lid of the system or the tank and to bore 20 round holes there and have a distance has perhaps equivalent the ones of the others and the exact diameter of the small hydroponic pots as well as a very small hole which will be used in the passing of the wire of the pump

Then take your pump and fix the suction cups of the bottom of the pump on the bottom of the vat or tank, on the exit of your pump fix there the end in form of T, on this same end will also put at it each with dimensions T to you an end aspersor, the aspersors must be only 1 to see 2 centimetres below the bottom of the small hydroponic pots, if not the roots of the plants will not be in contact with the water!

If your T does not arrive rather high it will be necessary you can put between the pump and T an end of extension so that it is placed at the good level... after having fixed all that, place your two stoppers on each end of your pipe in form of T.

Here is the turn is played, attaches the lid of your system and places there the 20 hydroponic pot, fills the whole of your substrate preferred and built the catch.

The maintenance of this cloner homemade is the same one bought in store.

The small one +: you can add in your cloner a heater for aquarium (which will control the temperature) as well as a thermometer to be on to always have the correct temperature in your water.

Let us recall that the temperature for the cuttings and especially for the substrate in which its last are is 23 degrees Celsius at the beginning and thereafter after appearance of the roots from 18 to 23 degrees Celsius.

Well the boy lives in Canada eh? Might need that extry heat throwed off by the pump just to keep the water from freezing. Yeah thats the ticket. It colder than a moose's tit in a snowdrift up there ya know? Nothing twixt the Quebeckerpeckers and the N. Pole cept a barbed wire fence. Think I would be tempted to forget all that plumbing and irrigation equipment and fill up the rez with airstones and a strong air pump. Let it splash a little water on the bottom of the buckets. That should work and get rid of the hot water problemo. Smart thinning there Senor Queeks Draw:)
