This is absolutely perfect for my apartment needs. Is the plastic thick enough not to glow with the doors closed?

Great job
you can see the light throught the plastic. i have a bigger box like that. not very stealty.

Yeah, not stealthy. Like someone said earlier. Black it out with liner. I dont need stealth, so the $39 was a better option.

I have a nice flower room. I just wanted a little shack for my tiny girls. Ill prolly vegg these til their about a foot. Then off to the MH room. Still undecided. Might do all-vegg and save energy. 1 clip on fan. 4"dryer vent for fresh air, tho I just keep it open for fresh air..

+rep ditty! good job dude this is going to do great in my new place. some insulation or a thick coat of white paint would block light, yeah?

Thanks for pointing me here man. I am definitely going to walmart this weekend to look into this. I am growing in my bathroom above the toilet on a wall mounted rack, in a space almost exactly this size and just looking for something to make it a little cleaner looking. I am going to look at doing your setup combined with a small DWC to get a few more inches off the bottom. I am only looking to grow two plants at a time, from bagseed so I will probably only veg for a couple weeks and then flower in the same box. Plus rep sir, if you have a journal ill also subscribe to it.

Nice veg box sir. I have one with similar dimensions made out of wood(for those viewing this that are concerned about light leaks) that i purchased at target with a 125w cfl

Nice setup Ditty! I was look for an idea since I am currently in a n apartment and was originally just using half of my closet which really didn't have crap for light "insulation". Basically the light is just going everywhere and not just 100% straight on the plants. Your cabinet thing is just the thing I need to do :)

I got a quick question though. My current "crop" is about 2 weeks old and most of them have not been in direct light and have stretched towards the light.
My question is is a simple fix for this to just cover up a lot of the stem so the plant can stand upright again and continue growing or is it just better to start over?

I have 2 $10 grow lights I got from Walmart on them and have a small fan blowing on them even though it seems counter productive considering they cant stand up much without the air blowing on them even.

Here's a short video of my "setup" haha : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZkZXQtq5kE
