Hello there its been 17 days since those babies popped out and i have problems already.
I am using all-mix biobizz soil(since day 10),mineral water (6.8ph),a 400w mh and fed
only once with the lowest dose of bio-grow(1ml per L).
The problem started when i moved them under the mh(day 9-10).
Yesterday i moved the light to a safe distance 40cm away from the plants.
Imo its heat stress or Nitrogen defiency.Gime ur lights

40cm for a 400w HPS is pretty close even with air colled hood and cooltube, if you gave them a small dose of nutes already i would rule out a deficiency unless your having lockout issues due to PH but at this stage i highly doubt it. i would move the light a bit further away and see what happens, otherwise they look good man :)

my 2¢ from a inexperienced grower :)

Well how far should i move it then ?I got an open air reflector.Well thats what i was thinking about the ph too.I always water them
with mineral water(6.8 ph). I think they are small and for their age and the whole situation shocked them very much

raise it to 3' untill they start vegging properly. Its the heat/light from mh causing this, back it up and ease off the intensity.

Thanks for the feedback dude.I did raise it already.I got some new pics to show u how they are going.
They show signs of new growth but the lower leafs are getting worse every day.

Does it look like nute burn?Soil has 2.2ec(all-mix by biobizz). Is it enough to burn them?
Also the stem doesnt look strong and hard. Its still thin and really sensitive

No heat stress. Its not a light problem. I think you are overwatering your plants. not sure whats in the soil, but new organic soil should last you a while without the need to add anything. Just feed it regular water. you need to only water when the top inch of solid is dry.

when you water the water needs to flood out of the holes in the bottom of the pot. you need to water outside more often because the sun dries up the soil quicker, but inside the soil won't dry up nearly as fast. Sometimes i don't water for a week. I have literally stop caring for a plant one time in hydroton without light and that sucker didn't dry up for a good two weeks.

Well i water every time i put my finger in about 2-3 inches and the soil is dry.Sometimes it takes me a week to water again.
The light was close to the plants(about 25cm)since day 10 and i moved it away 7 days later.Thats why i think
that heat stress is the reason.Never had problem with the specific soil in my last 2 grows.

i would just not use any fertilizers right now. I see really dark green in the center of the leaves, which leaves me to believe there too much nitrogen. Too much nitrogen causes deficiencies in potassium(yellowing of outer edges and tip/margin burn) and calcium too(deformed growth).

Well i wont use any fertilizers for the next 2 weeks. What if the plants wont get any better?
They are looking better every day but kinda small for their age.

I read that a plant need 2-3 weeks to recover
the heat stress shock.Would it be wise to flush tommorow and start with the smallest dosage or w8 for a week?

I ll update tommorow so u can see urself.If u flush an organic,every nutrient(worm castings-compost etc..)thats in it will be destroyed? ?

Hello there and Merry Christmas everyone,ho ho ho ho :p

Well 2 of 4 utopias are growing stronger every day,but the rest of them are like completely stunned. My bagseed plants are growing well but also yellowing(new and middle leafs).
I guess i facked up my grow with heat-stress and the strong soil.I was thinking to start a new one, order some new seeds and add them in the growroom.

Take a look,i think i need to flush those 2 stunned utopias and the blue widow.

What do u guys think?

your problem at the beginning of this thread was a combo of light being too close, over watering and too much nitrogen actually, and your water should be at 6.5 or you're locking out iron. That soil you use has a ton of fert in it for the first month from the start of seeding, and everytime you watered you were releasing those ferts, let the soil dry up before watering like 3 or 4 days between waterings. It seems that your plants have vigor though and have pulled through, I would say for the plants that are still stunned, flush with 3x water and 1/2 cup of 3%hydrogen peroxide per gallon of water. I would then let them dry up and really good because I think you've been overwatering, the third pic and your first pics make me think this is true. The hydrogen peroxide will help push plants out of lock with the extra oxygen pushing the ferts through the plant. The extra oxygen will also kill molds, fungis that you might have in your soil from over watering.

yeah look at the first pic, its not vibrant, its dull, and the lower four leaves are kinda droopy, while you soil looks soaked, flush with peroxide to get those roots some oxygen or your babies will be in lock, also the 2nd pics looks like signs of Iron deficiency for sure, your water is too alkaline and that plant has the yellowing on the top set of leaves.

Ok thats what i was planning to do tomorrow.I am not sure if i can find hydrogen peroxide in my area.Anything that can replace it ?Where can i buy it ?

Not sure where you are, but you should be able to get Hydrogen Peroxide damn near anywhere that sells first aid stuff. And usually for less than 5$ a bottle
