Dirty cloning gel

So my dumbass didn't realize that I got dirt into my cloning gel last time I took clones. Now will that dirt affect the gel in anyway? Do you still think I can take clones with that gel?

should be fine, be more careful in the future. Sticking plants directly in the jar is a bad idea. Take a little out to use and discard what ever is left over.

you can stick the clone right into dirt so i dought it will do much damage

Since you contaminated it, it will probably go bad sooner rather than later, but should be ok for a bit.

Also, keep it in the fridge once you open it. Take it out about a 1/2 hour before you're going to use it. I use those little glass bottles like hash oil used to come in for dipping the clones and fill from the big bottle.

Thanks everyone I appreciate it + rep to all. I do store in the fridge, but didn't leave it for a half hour before I used it, hopefully the clones will be alright :/
