Dilemma...Needing suggestions!!!

My Dilemma. Need advice from the experts
I am wondering what would be the most ideal grow area size for a 1000w digital HID to give maximum yield?

Also what would be the perfect number of plants to put under the light again aiming for maximum yield?

I have some Raspberry cough, blackjack and super skunk. Germinated and just put in soil. I will grow in soil and will LST some and top others to try to keep a uniform height with the plants.

I am using a room for the growing area. Using a corner with the back of a wardrobe giving the third wall. I have a huge roll of Mylar cloth to make 4th wall and top (is this really needed?). The A/C is directly above the area which will bring in enough fresh air from outside and will blow directly on the HID.


Please give me any suggestions.

4x8 foot would work with your light on a track and i would vent the 1k watt light unless that ac is just for that room. ( i use a window unite for my room and it works good.) To keep your area square i would go 6ftx6ft up to 7x7 area

How many plants? I would have 8-12 depending on the bushiness of the way you grow and the type of plant. The amount of bud is equel to the amount of proper bandwith light hitting the plants. If your going to grow tall i would add some cfl lighting on sides, i have 2 double 4 foot fixtures with 2x60watt bulbs each right about the middle of the plants that usually are around 5-6 feet tall before harvest.

Are you in a state that growing is legal? Are you legal? If not, the smell will put you in jail. a 4x8 tent would be perfect as it helps control lots of odor, if your legal screw the extra headaches of smell. If your NOT legal in your state? Thanks for the suggestions. As for being legal.......well im actually living in china. i could not find a decent smoke here so decided to go down this route
