Digital PH Meter?

I've had my milwaukee Ph600 for a few months now.
It's only $15.00 because it's not water proof, it's not a Pocket Ph
Tester.
I just take care of it. I clean it after each use and I calibrate it once
a week in the calibration solution. I've never had any problems with it.
I was gonna buy the PH/TDS/EC multi-Meter but they want to much money
I ended up with a $20.00 Non-water proof TDS tester works great

Read up on it some more. I wouldn't trust the guy at the store.
Thanks for advice man I appreciate it. I am an extremely picky buyer and its becoming an increasingly tough decision. But you seem confident in so I may have to reconsider because price is an issue for me. And you seem to take care of it, I think many people are lazy and lack that kind of motivation therefor resulting in it crapping out on them. Thanks again!bongsmilie

You should go back to the local hydro guy who gave you the recommendation and buy it from him. Sounds like you will need more advice from him down the road, take care of him and he will take care of you. You can usually talk grow stores down a few bucks too if you're cool with them.
Yea hes a cool dude and has already hooked me up with some FoxFarm nutes. You are indeed right, always good to get in with the supplier (8

Also yes im a newb and I wouldnt trust my own judgment on the pH without something telling me precisly. Thanks again for feedback guys much appreciated as always.

i have a Milwaukee waterproof meter .. very glad it's waterproof cause' i've definitely dropped it into a jug before.

Works great if you take care of it (storage solution, calibrate once a month).
