Digital Greenhouse 600W Balast Problem

I just got one of the Green House 600w balasts. It would not even fire the light up. It is cool I found this site or I would have been very aggrovated! THX for the help.

Anyone having issues lately with the htg digital greenhouse ballasts? Htg offers the best prices around but you know how that goes.

anybody got anything to saay on the noise issues. the ads say "silent" and "virtually no hum". can anyone comment on this? well at least the people that have working units as i assume those that dont work of course dont make any noise.

my buddy has a 1000w hps/mh conversion from HTG manufactured by GrowBright. it has lasted the test of time (3 grows without a blown bulb including switching out)and is a bad ass ballast and light set up, but man does it ever make some serious humming.

i love htg supply. only place i will get my equipment from besides my local hydro shop. can get expensive but usually the quality makes up for it. excellent customer service. here is what i did with their soil kit with 400w mh veg and hps for flower. http://skiweeds.angelfire.com my first indoor personal grow where i was in charge and did everything myself. before prohibition i was an outdoor soil grower and indoors only helped friends with setups. with htg supply, some past experience, and a little reading, i sure as hell surpassed my expectations.

Big fan of HTG supply right here, for what it's worth. One time I received a wrong item and they shipped me the additional item for free, so i basically got a free 25 dollar 6" clip fan. I have a 400 watt Digital Greenhouse switchable ballast, always worked well though it does have some hum to it while it's running. Next time I'll go with Galaxy or Lumitek just to see what all the fuss is with the slightly more expensive ballasts. Digital Greenhouse has taken me though 1.5 grows and just started another so I have to give them props for that!
