digital ballast failure

just curious what others thoughts are on here, my digital ballast just failed, trips the breakers on the ballast itself and even the house breaker. it was 5+ years old, needless to say i bought a new digi ballast.

my question is my yeialds have been off for about 2 or 3 cycles so roughly 6-8 months, nothing has changed the bulb is and horti eye maybe 9 months old. but is it possible that my yealds been off from the ballast slowly failing? im just struggling to figure out the issue, possibly bulb...? let me know your thoughts

would be hard to tell without some type of light meter. you could have measured when brand new and compare to later results.

i changed my bulbs every 6 months when i was using HPS

Not all digital ballasts are equal maybe the bulb temp is off or it doesn't work great with that bulb.
