Different way of coloring weed

i highly doubt anything like this would work, if you want colored bud then buy a strain that grows like it naturally. theres plenty of white blue and purple strains out there you can grow

I've come under the impression that Nirvana is the only site that is safe and they don't have any magical colors lol. I want purple, blue, red, and yellow colored buds (mainly red, blue, and purple- real purple). I know I sound like a kid but smokin' weed for me is more than just rollin up and gettin high, it's like bein' part of a movement ya kno...

their are a multitude of sites to order from, Nirvana just happens to be the one most people use on this site because its the only one listed in the seeds section. they have durban poisin and i believe purple # 1 those are very very beautiful purple plants if grown correctly in a cool enviorment. i dont think they have blue or red and im not even sure about that because they just added a bunch of new strains. But reguardless attempting to falsely color / flavor your marijuana is kind of pointless when looking at the cost to benefit ratios.

Pros ( if it works )
- cool colored plants / buds

Cons ( if it works )
- awful food coloring flavor

-possible decreases to the THC content and over all plant health ( only a possibility don't know for sure )

- kills your plant after it turns it that color

pros ( if it dosn't work )
- maybe it wont do anything at all ??

cons ( if it dosn't work )

- kills your plant
-damages your plant
-reduces potency
- ect ect

Purple like this? I only have 5 that are turning purple so far but one is way more purple than the rest. She really stands out it a crowd

People go ape shit over purple in my area so I'm going to reveg this lady and keep her as a mother to clone and clone and then clone some more.

People its not a great idea. take it from the ones that thought it was a good one also. simple as this, you want that bobby brown, putfood coloring in your plants. you want Buds in your bowl, bong, blunt, what ever. DONT

interesting topic . . . i don't think that its a good idea to colour the bud unless it is naturally colorful.

Be honest grow a strain that has colorful genetics that way you know you have the dank instead of being a washed out con artist.

I mean if its for artistic purposes then id agree do some experimentation. . . otherwise please just be a wholesome producer.

anyway good luck with your endeavors my friend!!!

Using food coloring to try to enhance your herb is just plain retarded. What a waste of time. Get a good strain and let the genetics speak for themselves.

Amateur hour!

No harm done in trying it but it's already been done before. You can change the color slightly but it leaves as soon as you flush. The only way to retain a noticeable amount of color was to give it food coloring and no flush. No flush gives you bad tasting and harsh smoke.

If you're doing it for an experiment to have fun that's one thing. I did that with roses when I was in kindergarten. If you're doing to try to improve the herb though I'm against it. That's all I was getting at Hawaiin :) Just saying that you should only do it for novelty, not for quality.

Sounds like an interesting experiment if it is for personal use. If you are trying to make it look like purple haze to make more $$$, then that is just fucked up man. Don't cheat the consumer like that.

foliar spray food coloring?
that actually sounds like a good idea. its been proven that the roots will filter out the food coloring but if you can get around that then you can color your bud. FDD cut his plants and put the stalks in food coloring. the biggest problem is that the food coloring gives off a horrible taste when smoked so im not sure why people are still trying to do this?
