Depends on how big the pot and plants are. I'd just get some organic dry nutrients to top dress when you need to.

No large plant could make it all the way thru with either.

It would depend on the plants size. With happy frog you can get away with 2-4 weeks tops depending how much room the plant has to stretch roots. As @PadawanWarrior mentioned plan on dry amends as a top dress. If you have perlite on hand I recommend adding some to create a better dry back. Happy Frog tends to be good water retaining soil. Sometimes too good and you can run into over watering. Just be mindful. Best of luck!
