Didn't think I'd end up here.

I can't believe how long it takes for a plant to come back after getting screw'd up!!! I have 5 plants:
10 gallon DCW Ph at 6
DYNA-GROW nutes 300ppm
400 watt MH vented
Humidity at a steady 42-50%
Temp at a steady 75-77
Lights on 24/7.

I messed up on my nutes and burn'd em so I fill my res with 100% pure water with no nutes for about a week. I pretty sure I have everything right now but my god is it taking along time for them to get back to beautiful! SHIT!

Anyways, if anybody see's something Im doing wrong with my DCW grow, let me know.

I would use the 18/6 schedule if i were you.. better for root growth.

And how much did you overfertilize??

Maybe try some pure nitrogen such as dried blood or bone meal that could spur growth while your just adding water. Time is probably the best answer though. Good luck.

Well... I started with a weak solution from the beginning which was great but then instead of changing out the entire res like I should have I just added to it with full strength nutes...stupid. Then, one day I was reading a thread that was talking about foliar ( didn't spell that right ) feeding with a concoction of 1/4 strength nute in a spray bottle. Against the advise if Uncle ben...more stupid...I tried it anyways.
THEN...idiotic... I lowered my light to about 11" from the tops. I figured that was ok because my hood was vented.

I totally forgot that LESS IS BETTER!!! And I got change happy. I know better. it just makes me sick!!!:spew:

I doubt those affected leaves are going to turn green again. IMO they aren't doing your plants any good at this point, if it was me I would cut them off. Removing the affected vegetation could reduce stress and generally also stimulates new growth. Good luck.

Thanks Will, noted.

Update: They are still just snail crawling back to healthy. It seems like it shouldn't be taking so long for them to rebound. what should be the expected time frame for them to come back to full health? Any thoughts?

Thanks again guys for your continued help and support. RUI rocks!
