Ok guys, I had a little problem. Yesterday in the late in the day cyle the lights went off because an electrical issue in another room. They were off for about 30-60 min until I found out about it and used an extension chord to run my lights for the rest of the light cycle which was another 3 hours. I looke dat my plants yesteray evening and I noticed acouple of the new growth and one older one had some leaf disfigurements. I read up on how light cycle interuptions can really fuck a plant up. Do you guys think that that those 30-60 min did this to these leaves.

These are just some shots of how they are doing in general.

i seriously doubt it. nice looking grow, clean, good utilization of space.

you'll be really glad you are vegging with an MH. MH during veg is essential to proper plant growth and they just look so much leafier and healthier, and the more big leaves you have during veg results in bigger buds during flower, so when you hit 12/12 with the HPS the plant has a lot more surface area to absorb the light and more nutrient reserves for late in flower keeping bud size and resin production high. plus it keeps the nodes tight so the light doesn't fade as much towards the lower buds, giving you increased yield.

another tip i've heard is to run the MH during the first 2-3 weeks of 12/12 (until buds are forming) because there is a massive stretch during this period and using MH will keep it under control, once again enhancing the yield.

+rep to you.

and that durban poison in the back looks sexy! here's hoping it's a girl.

Thanks for your info and help. Plus rep to you too. I hope all of them are girls but for size restrictions I can only keep 10-12. Good enough for me.

i agree i have seen this a few times cuz of the same thing, power outage the thing to do is write down the exact time that the timer goes off and exactly what time it turns on so when you catch it u can simply turn your timers back to the right time and it will be much easier on your plants if they only get shocked one night instead of having to adjust to a new light cycle..
and another reason to know the exact times..when mine say that there is 12 on and 12 off there is actually only like 11 hours and something like 54 off don't now how much damage that can do but i know it takes 12 hours of darkness for certain things to happen in cannabis..

Thanks homie.
welp i guess i was wrong.

i fucked with my plants light cycle a lot with my first grow and didn't notice anything as a result. however i had problems from every other newb mistake during veg. i really always thought everyone was kind of blowing smoke up my ass about the light cycle.
