I had a spider mite infestation just about a week or two before harvest, so I went ahead and harvested. Since I didn't want to let the spider mites ruin my harvest, I thought it would be a good idea to soak the plants in water for a few hours to drown out the mites. When I took the plants out of the water, I put an air pump in and started it. Here's where I became concerned. The water was very frothy, much more than normal water. Any ideas about this? What's going on? Where did the froth come from?
