i used beeswax when i had it, warm it in your hands wrap it around and it’ll harden on its own and the nice thing about it when branch heals and gets thicker it sheds the beeswax on its own

Wow I like ides alot actually, for now I use tape and zip tie over the tape in the future I'll definitely try that thank you

yeah tape and ties work too i’ve broke my fair share of branches and after wrapping with beeswax you may have to support the branch until it hardens properly depending on how big the branch is.

make sure you remove the zip tie in a few weeks after the split heals or it can cut into the trunk of the plant when it starts to swell during flower. The trunk can double in size or more during flower.

I usually wrap the break in a piece of paper, and then put tape around the outside of the paper tight. This way when I cut the tape the paper keeps it from sticking to the plant and since it's just tape I don't have to struggle getting it off and risk breaking again. In my experience it's basically 100% success rate.
