So..... I FIMMED these about 3 days ago.

When I snipped it, their was only a little bit of new growth coming out of the main "cola". Is that what its called "Main Cola"

Tell me does it look like I did it right?

Yes that is a successful one. Ypu basically divided your terminal bud point into 4. Good work.

That more or less looks like how mine is coming in. Ill post a pic in a little bit. Just getting situated and the "stoning" ritual that takes place after every work day.

And yes the main cola would be the top of the main stalk if left unchecked. I am still waiting to see if I did my fimming right as well. Actually come to think of it I think I did it 3 days ago as well.

I topped my other plant just to compare and the 2 colas are showing growth from there. The fimmed one looks like yours just bushy up there.

That's awesome to hear!
The photos don't even do it justice, Their are 5 plants all together & 3 of them are coming in like the photos above. The other 2 are coming in super slow.
Is their a chance I could of stunted them?

Fimming/topping will slow growth a little either way but whats happening is when you cut that growth above it releases hormones that accelerate the lower growth making them bushier. I read that when fimming, if you pinch the growth off rather than cutting it will grow back faster because there isn't as much shock.

So I toyed with my camera after realizing that I dont have it on the highest megapixel so now my pics look better.

The one I fimmed

The one I topped.

The 2

My attempt at LST using twist wires that came with my PC fans lol. Its working at least.

And all that yummy growth happening under those fan leaves. Already counted about 5 or 6 little colas forming on each of them.

I like this info!

I was wondering about these same little new growth I was having!

Mine looks the same way.

My plants are really small tho. Like 5" small. :/

It looks like you did you fimming earlier than mine, I wish I start doing all that from the getgo.

How old are they?
Here is where it gets complicated.....

Placed in a growbox with 4x 100 watt equivalent CFL on the 30th of June.
The placed them in net pots in a DWC system on the 16th of July. When I did this I still had not received my 400 watt system. So they were under the 100 watt cfl still.
Started their new light cycle with the 400 watt system on the 18th of July.
Had the lights off for 2 days because I was out of town & did not have time to set up exhaust and intake. I did not want any heat issues while I was away.

Soooo.... They have been under my simi complete grow tent system now for a solid consistent week.

Does that make sense?

Ah so they are older than mine just slowed I guess. Lots of moving around and the light issue. They probably thought it was gonna go into flowering for those 2 days without lights. And then reverted back to veg.

I think the BIG issue was the lights. They have only been under the 400 watt system for not even a week yet.
My plan is to put into flowering on the 11th of August. So I still have about 2 weeks left of vegging to go.
Hoping to get them at about 12" before flowing.

UPDATE:

Here are some photos of the seedlings, a week after fimming.

My next question is, How bushy are they going to get? I would like to know if they are going to grow up much more or if they will just get fatter.

Right now they look like cabbages.
