So of the 12, 3 or 4 have webs after one week but the rest are just plain like on the left of picture, there is 1 which is on right which is Covered in webs... Another one is half full...

Is this right just keep waiting? Do I wait until All web up or do I move the ones that cover first as soon as they fill up? Sorry first time... Too bad it's not cid I'm growin!!!

Sorry I'll upload later but basically one on left is Completely unchanged with rye vermiculite and water and spores of course Just No webbing... The one on right is Conpletely Covered in White Cobwebs!

Rye is not the best tek to start with, BRF (brown rice flower) is quite a bit easier to learn with. Rye is better for bulk because you can shake it up and break up the mycelia to spread it out in a bulk substrate. What TEK are you using?

whats your incubation temperature? where did you source your spores? How did it get contaminated?

These are the big three variables to think about when you get a contaminated batch. Spores do have the potential to be contaminated from the start and old spores wont work as fast. temperatures too high or too low can slow or stall the mycelia and something as small as one figerprint can comtaninate. Remember what slows or stalls the spores can be the perfect environment for contamination to grow. Give it what it needs right from the start.

Best of luck with the other syringes.
