I improvised. I went with a new ceiling fan that has a remote.
Tied a rope around the shaft, then tied the other end to a fishing swivel and hooked the swivel to a fan blade.
It was working well at first, every revolution was one tug. Till the rope came off of the shaft and then I got whipped in the eye. ;D
