small plants. i have about 7 like this.. tips seem brown/very light yellow... overall plant is light green ( pale )
ignore the lower leaves they are very brown/crisp due to lack of ventalation.. i now have an extraction fan and 2 passive holes
this is the biggest sprout 5 pics = same plant

facts :
temps = 79-80's(low) daytime 68-70's night
nutes = none
soil = garden pro something( regular potting soil )
container = (small container less then 1 gal + 2 2 gal pots)
watering = every 3-4 days ( water until i get drops out bottom holes )
PH = 7's i havent got around to getting a good ph tester.. or ph down. i used a pool tester ( range = 6.5-7.5 ) and was around 7.2-7.4
lights = 100 watt cfl(cool) and a 23 watt cfl(warm) around 4 inches away
age = 2-3 weeks
strain = misty and speedqueen(one in pic is speedqueen)

pics of diffrent angles/plants/setup available on request

not sure what that means but lets hope it grows out of it. i thought when i got some ventalation it would stop but its still happening. good thing is its happening slower and the plants are growing alittle faster. they are very small for 2-3 weeks

merry xmas Fdd ;)

and merry christmas to you.

"hot" meaning heavy in nutes. MG is heavy in nitrogen. Fox Farms is fairly neutral. that's all i'm familiar with.

well its not MG its just some regular potting soil.. it was actully the only thing i could find that wasnt miricale grow... it has no listings of nutes on the bag.. or ingreediants. and the site on the bag doesnt work... hmm damn lowes >.<

the origional cause of the lower leaves dieing was heat/stagnant air..... i think....

I kinda agree with FDD, those plants look burnt, if you look hard enough it should have the n-p-k and ingredients on the package. Unless it's seed starting soil there are probably nutes in the soil. You said your plants are 2-3wks old, how old were they when this first started, i'd say if they started burning/yellowing within the first or second set of leaves that soil mix is too hot as FDD said, anywho good luck and check out that soil package again for ingredients/nutes, happy holidays!
edit: Also are you able to take better pictures? some that aren't so blurry? It's help out tremendously.

Agree X2, this appears to be nute burn. And considering you've got no nutes, seems reasonable to look into the soil. Also get that pH down as soon as you can.

im having the same problem but not as bad. I think mine is due to heat and partly from being slightly overnuted. mine are over a week from sprout and most are only on their second node and none have fully developed leaves or anything. its sad :(

i had a similar problem with my young plants, a bit older, probbly 3.5 weeks and i was wondering the same thing. Mine had brown splotches on the leaves also, i cant tell if there are any from your pics but anyway i started giving them some MG and fucking bam they turned dark forest green in one day.

well heres the thing.... there is no nutes... the soil that i got is just regular potting soil... i will take pics of the bag tommorow... as for the pics... my camera is on the fritz so i just used my phone.. i just was getting the point across were its brown/yellow. i will get better pics in the morning. i really dont think it has anything to do with nutes.. my watering should be fine... the only thing it can be is heat.... as i said this is in a small cabinet and it had no ventalation... the plants grew fine/green till alittle after the 1st real set of leaves ( 4 total leaves) then it begins browning along with this.. growth slows and the plant gets brown spots which get bigger until it consumes the whole leaf( as shown with lower leaveS) compleatly dry and crisp/breakable to touch... as i said when i add'd the ventalation and stabalized the temp the browning slowed very dramaticly and growth got faster by a big amount... but now im seeing browning on the new leaves that just came in... so im wondering what the fuck it could be.... only things not under my control would be PH but off ph shouldent fuck the plant like that..so i assumed it was heat.....

when i get some more cash i will get 2 fans for the passive holes which will help temp more... i will put in real mylar( i have white paper up now) and i will get nutes( which im not sure if i should add if what you say is right.) i will get a ph tester if i could find one in a store... its winter and noone seems to have em i might just order one online. other then that i would just mabe get a hps system(cooltube) for flowering.. i alredi have 2 gal pots to transplant em in when they get alittle bigger ... and thats were i am now
