Determining What to Throw Away

hi guys i have a 1.5mx1.5mx2m tent with a 600w hps (air cooled)

i have 10 cheese in 15l pots (bio bizz all mix and using biobizz root juice, grow, bloom and topmax)

iv been told 10 is too many under one 600hps and to cut it down to 6 (as it will produce a larger yield)

i was wondering how to determine say which 4 i should get rid of...and what i could do with them possibly....

i am currently 2 days into 12/12 and my plants went into 12/12 at about 11-13 inches tall

before you cut any down you might want to get a second opinion on that. how high are they now ?
I've seen a grow of a dozen plants under a 400 watt that looked fine.
Does your reflector give you a rectangular footprint of light ? or square (for 3 rows of 3 = 9) ?

im not too sure im a newb first time they are all about a foot tall..shall i take a photo of my set up?

only a foot tall you should be fine in IHO they won't stretch taller than to 3 feet.
If it's no problem a picture is always nice and you'll get better feedback, anyways you've got PLENTY of time to make the final decision for your setup.
Cheese is an oustanding strain ! is it pure? who's strain ?

a friend of mines gave them to me ...ill take a photo now give me 2 mins

as it night time in the tent i cnt take a proper foto although i got a pic i took a week ago they are about 13" now though....

Keep em all, it will come out fine, they won't fight much if at all for light......

yeah, definetly. I'd remove one, only either the best one for a clone mother or the worst, just so you can pack them together tighter.
How high up is that light BTW ?

that's about right, if I were you I'd put a light refcting material under your plants, sitting on top the pots, even aluminum foil is better tha black earth and empty spaces.

so that light gets reflected back up onto the underside of the leaves instead of getting absorbrd by the black soil.

so im going to cut circle foil shaped to cover soil so it can be removed when watering and then replaced

at least, or strips laid between rows whatever is easiest to move out of the way when needed.
(I don't do friends BTW)

looks good, iv got a couple of 600s running and i thought 6 each would be ample, turns out i could easily fit 12 under each light!!! pretty gutted now i didnt!!

is it in a tent and what size pots are they in ?

Hey, no tent but pretty much the same specs as the large long one. my closet is 2.6m long by 1.2m wide by 2.4m high and they are in 3gal but a combo on square and normal pots. check out my grow. im in the last 3 weeks of flower!!
