i dont see any signs of either sex, all i see are stipules and those are the little spikes by the nodes, they appear on both female and male plants..and to answer your question both sexes will smell if you rub the stem..that doesnt mean anything.

So its been more than 3 weeks since i last posted the pics...its grown taller...around 27 inches...So i thought i'd check for sex signs...n i found some bulbs develop...and something curly stick out in a pair from most bulbs...i thought earlier tht bulbs meant its a male but the stick curly translucent stuff makes me think otherwise...it was quite dark when i took the pics so there is a lot of shiny stuff stickin to most of the part of the stems and stalk tht i assume is the stuff we r interested in...but can you guys determine the sex now?? the pics are quite high resolution i hope...i had to crop the pics cause they were very large in size...good news i hope...bud 1.jpgbud2.jpgbud3.jpgbud4.jpgbud5.jpgbud6.jpgbud7.jpgbud9.jpgbud10.jpgbud11.jpgbud12.jpgbud13.jpgbud14.jpg

Almost looks like a nut sac, If it were a female I am sure you would see a pistil sticking out of that by now for that size

All my females had pistils coming out of the calyxes when they were much smaller then the sac in that picture

there are some pics in which there is stuff protruding out...do see them closely...around the 6-10th pics...
I see what you are saying about that pic but it is hard to tell if that is even a pistil it just looks like the tip of the sac

In that picture see how small the calyx was when the pistil started coming through? Also the calyx in this picture is seen splitting at the top and you can see it opening up.

yours are much bigger and don't seem to look like they are splitting nor do I see any clear white hairs.

I am still uncertain though, but i am leaning toward male

i would put it in flower but I do mine at basketball size anyway and they flower right away. If it were me I would switch to 12/12, she will grow a couple of feet real fast so why not.

Yea I see it, Also might be a herm too, You will easily be able to sex it in another day or two

Here is my male when I first noticed it
DSCN2934 (Large) (2).jpg

See how much bigger they are then the calyx I posted earlier?

Also here is a much more clear picture of when I first noticed my females

female1 (Large).jpgDSCN2923 (Large).jpg

My point I am trying to make is that you see these two pictures of the female is that the calyxes usually don't get as big as what you have in your pictures before the pistils come through

The calyxes are more oblong shaped and usually come to a point on the females and the male flowers start forming little balls that are much more round then the female Calyxes
