Hey guys, tty and I have gathered you here based on a private conversation we had earlier. Not sure if you've noticed, but the politics section has become an ultimate troll haven for some of our members. A thread can't be posted without it being hijacked by them, regardless of the content of the thread. So, to combat this, we think the best tactic is, as simplified as it may seem, ignore em. Put them on ignore and don't respond to any of their posts. Pretend they don't exist. The 'ignore' feature is great in that their posts don't even show up. It essentially deletes them from your RIU feed. Since this is what they seem to thrive on, if you look at each of their post histories, the vast majority of them are confrontational or antagonistic, we starve them of the opportunity. Simply ignore them and they'll actually be speaking into the echo chamber. I've been around here long enough to know that will get boring for them very fast. A week or two, maybe three.. Watch how the atmosphere changes. They'll be patting themselves on the back and jerking each other off among themselves, but each of them are desperate for the attention we give them. I think the best thing we can do collectively is simply refuse to give it to them.

Was working late at a movie theater, got a call from a coworker at a party obviously drunk asking me to stop by and say hi after I got off. I stop by, as I'm walking in and saying hello to people, she walks up, doesn't say anything, grabs my face and tongue kisses me in front of everyone. Nobody said or did anything that made what she did seem out of place, over the line or even unusual.
Pretty benign compared to some others here, but no doubt about it it was sexual assault. I have a burning suspicion that if I did that to her while drunk, I would have absolutely gotten my ass beat by every guy in the room immediately.
