so I did a bubble hash extraction on my entire ValentineX plant (minus the main stalk). I first did a dry ice extraction, but I was getting too much plant material, as I was shaking too much. so I bubble bagged everything. total yield was 3.2 grams of high quality bubble.
3.2g of bubble hash
1 box of Duncan Heinz premium blueberry streusel muffin mix (all natural, no preservitives, no artificial anything, real Maine blueberries).
I double broil and heat my oil (recipe calls for 1/3rd cup veg oil) to 140, then add my bubble. stir every so often and let cook down for 45 mins. keeping temps at 150 (+/-5*). you should end up with a nice amber colored oil with minimal to no "small bits" in the oil.
let cool down for an hr or so before putting into the muffin mix.
blend muffin mix per directions and bake as directed.
this oil infusion tek can be used for any recipe. if recipe calls for butter, do NOT heat butter to a high temperature. you will curdle/seperate it. you need a slow and warm dbl broiler method with a long cook time (I recommend 2+ hrs for a good infusion).
I freeze all my edibles, since these don't have preservatives, (imo, being a former certified chef), they will not be safe to eat after a week sitting on the kitchen counter.
I had a horrible migraine last night. I tried smoking flowers, no help. tried smoking some shatter in my vape pen, no help. I tried my DR prescribed medicine (imitrex), and NO help!!! I ate 1 whole muffin and my migraine was totally GONE in about 1 hr. the "high" from these CBD muffins is way different than when I make my normal muffins from my THC plants. its a more chill, relaxed, easy going constant level high. not a rollercoaster high like thc muffins. I think 1/2 muffin would be good, as a whole one is pretty potent.
