Again, you're right. What do you think is driving this? Color me way too cynical to believe that they're just doing it because it's the right thing to do.
The politicians did everything they could to forestall the inevitable, this is how they continue the effort while seeming to champion the cause of legalization. We are legalizing it. They speak for their corporate masters.

What I'm saying is that the establishment (Clinton and hers) is afraid of the growing radicalization on the left. That element may be focused on opposing the right, but it is increasingly disaffected by the democrat party. The right was effectively split by the whole Rawn Pawl and Tea Party thing, which essentially neutered it. The further the democrat party goes to the right, the more some people will seem to be "radicalized". By throwing us a whiff of cannabis legalization, we chill out on the activism.

it' not even legal to grow at home for most people now anyway. drop the conspiracies.
I don't really think its a conspiracy. Big pharma and Dupont are the reason cannabis is illegal.

Why aren't you yelling about that?

Those companies use lines like it would make black men rape white women.

Why do you think k its a conspiracy? Monsanto has already bought a nutrient and light company. Its possible GMO pot is coming.

Let's look at the poppy. Pain medicines are made from the opium poppy. They extract morpine and and other opiates from them. They alter them and make them thousands times more powerful and addictive. Most pain medicines are schedule 2 or 3. You can grow poppies but try harvesting or lancing them. You will be charged for manufacturing.

It is possible that it goes fully legal. I doubt it. Big pharma wants their grubby fingers on it.

Its legal in one form or another in 30+ states now. Seems like the majority.

Out of those how many can grow? Seems like before its over it will stay illegal to grow but legal to buy from a big corp.
