Hey guys this is day 10 for me finally see some roots peeking out below... feeling pretty good abut this being that it's my first bubbleponics grow... here are some pics
word of advice mate, get that net pot filled up to the brim!! any light leaks getting through those gaps and you are pretty much commenting plant suicide.
you will get root issues very shortly.

Also, orange buckets.. get them wrapped as well. just in some reflective sheeting as alge may be able to grow due to light penetration.

i can almost grantee you will have issues if you don't amend those problems straight away!

other than that, nice and healthy mate. looking forward to seeing more.

Sub'd. I'm getting into bubbleponics too. Did you use plugs or rock wool? I put my sprouted beans directly into the hydroton - it took a a long couple weeks for roots. What nutes are you going to use?

I used rock wool.... and I'm using general hydroponics flora grow flora micro and floral bloom... also bontonicare cal mg and floralicious plus enhancer... and I would say using rock wool is way easier and way less time consuming than just dropping the seed in the hydroton... that's just my preference all growers and growers are different you have to do what works for you

yes mate, as long as it is blacked out. i would suggest wrapping it in insulation to help keep temps down/light off.
but 100% get that light leak covered otherwise you will be in lots of trouble.

what nutrients are you using?

So assuming you havent got anything to keep water temps in check... And assuming you are in the US i would get some hydroguard.

Its a liquid compost that allows warmer water temps whilst fighting off any bad pathogens in the water.

Have you corrected the light leaks yet?

Yes I've corrected the light leaks but I was peeking at the roots today and saw some little black worms.... wtf is that? I'm getting ready to change the water and hopefully this will correct the issues... and yes I am in the US and hydroguard will be my next purchase

black worms? post up some photos mate.
any root issues and hydroguard should quickly amend that. Vumar from this forum recommended it to me and it 100% saved my crop.
i now run a sterile res with a chiller

@coopersheldon man everything was going great. Took care of my fungas gnats and everything was good then I went to check in on her and ran into a withered plant... damn it added about 5 ml more of the peroxide to my 5gal dwc... I heard that it can only help but not harm the plant.... I took her out of the water for now being that I dont no what to do next

the peroxide is only a temp fix... if there is an Alge problem then it will explode shortly and take over all roots.
try and get some photos if you can... not sure how to upload tbh.

get some hydroguard in there. keep an eye on water temps and ensure no light leaks at all..
untill we see some pictures of the roots its hard to say whats going on with her

No worries mate, thats what a forum is all about!
Get some photos up and we will see if there are any other things to change whilst you have time!
Prevention easier than cure and all that.

Hey there! I started my grow around the same time as you! First grow ever and also trying out bubbleponics so looking for all the advice I can get. Hope they are doing good! I was just about to post my progress. Best of luck!
