Dehumidifier causing wild fluctuations

Ahh gotcha, I'm looking for a top watering system- traditional drip irrigation with better dispersal. I'm planning on a DIY solution like this:
$2 per plant for 1/2 inch poly and an extra T connector to do a DIY ring vs 12+ for a premade emitter/drip ring.

Not of a fan of the way those are mounted though. I'm going to be mounting it at three point off of the smallest ring of the tomato cages I'm using for the mainline next time so they stay even/secure.

Hey, good pics. How does your system call for water? Are your flowerpots on scales?
That's totally someone else's grow, it was just an example of what I'm planning with my design- sorry for any confusion.

No I don't have mine on scales. Right now I'm trusting on my home assistant config/my mental math on the rough flow rates through this system (and the fact that I'm just using a 5 gallon bucket at first so worst case still doesn't flood outside my drip tray).

The automation system I've got set up sends me text alerts so I figured I'd just set a bunch of thresholds related to watering and get alerts if it's running too long or drawing too much power.

Long term I figured I'd integrate a leak sensor like this one into the system to trigger a failsafe/cutoff.
