Deformed leaves after topping

Hi! I have some Cheese autoflowers. I only topped one of them to see what would happen. The growth on the topped plant hasn't seemed stunted at all but one side of the new sets of growth is deformed. Almost looks like something bit off the tips but it has looked this way since they first appeared.

I have another cheese in an even smaller pot without these issues. I didn't top that one or any of my other autos.
I am growing in soil and yes I am aware that the pot pictured is small. We are experimenting with sizes and techniques. My other strains in 5 gal grow bags are doing wonderfully and are getting bushy from LST and are ready to stretch as its preflower time!

I've been watering around 6.5ph and the run off has been fairly consistent and in that range. Nothing below 6.3 and nothing at 7.
Its possible they had a dry spell at some point. With small pots I found I need to water every day or 2 now. The RH in my house is dropping bc of cold weather. Tent RH is around 45% and temp in tent is around 77-81°F

Any ideas why this is happening?? Haven't seen any buggies.20201120_095532.jpg20201120_095447.jpg20201120_095357.jpg

The purple you see on some of the stems is from a couple weeks ago when I was out of town for a couple days and my timer didn't work properly.. the lights were on the whole time so they got a lil sun tan. We topped a couple days after that.
