Deformed First Set of True Leaves and Deformed Fetus Leaves

I am currently growing two plants that are on their first week (12-12 from seed), no fertalization has started and they are currently in inert soil (I transplant tomorrow). I got the seeds from a bag of mids ($20/eight). Theyre development has been slower than my other plants whos' seeds I got from a bag of nice purple indica buds ($40/eigth); theyre (the mids) seed casing stayed on for 3 days after emerging from the soil where as my other (purps) plants seed casing stayed on for 6 hours after sprouting. The leaf growth on my purps has been rapid with true leaves at 12 hours, within 24 the second set had emerged. The leaf growth on my mids has been slow and deformed (just now at 6 days the second set is showing) and the fetus and first leaf set on both plants look deformed, wrinkled and otherwise (while the second set looks fine, it's hard to tell at this stage). The two plants have been growing side by side scince birth. They were even germinated together. Also my mids are taller, while my purps are shorter. Could the mids be Sativa while the Purps being Indica? Is something wrong, if so what is it? Should I hold off transplanting on my mids another week?​
