Personally, i wouldn't pull nothing off if using 1000w in the proper footprint. It penetrates pretty deep, you are more likely to see yield drop if defoliated during bloom.

I'm not saying you cannot grow beautiful bud because you definitely can. I agree with allot of what you say. I just like to try to use the correct terms and I'm sure you can see what I meant in my last comment in regard to lollipoping- something that I usually do as well. We are just transferring the weight from the bottom to the top. Instead of growing an ounce of popcorn its an ounce on the top.
Its like stoners use the term Flush. But What it is? It seems to have at least two meanings. One is leaching and the other is watering. Why don't we all just use the correct terms? It would make it so much easier and less confusing especially with growing becoming such a professional industry with horticulture degrees starting to be the norm for employment with the big players.
