Deficiency

I've had purple coloring in this plant since about week 3 of veg after I first topped it. Thought it would pass over but it stuck with the plant. This plant has been through hell and back also btw, being uprooted twice and split at the stalk, one main stem broke off and all. She's still fighting, its amazing what these plants can go through but on to my point. Here's the pics(this is from a bagseed, which was reggie lol)

The first picture is just another shot of the purple(ish) plant. I need an opinion on the next 2. This second plant was snapped in half and i taped it and it repaired itself but now (a month later) about 2 weeks into flowering she is starting to yellow up at the bottom. It's slowly climbing and I'm starting to worry about it. Any advice would be appreciated.

Your purple plant is only that...purple! (Woohoo). The other is definitely deficient.. way too early for it to be yellowing from flowering. What kind of nutrients and how frequently or infrequently? what soil and amendments? need more info to help with that.

Woohoo is right, I'm fuckin stoked haha, is that rare? I've only been using MG 20-20-20 all purpose and superthrive through veg, thought I burned them early so I slowed nute feeding to once every 2 weeks. Just now got a little MG bloom booster 10-50-10 or something off a buddy and gave them one dose of that since flowering started(2 weeks ago?). Heard MG was garbage but I don't really have any other options seeing that I don't have a hydro store around. Also picked up some Blackstrap Molasses but I dunno how/when to start using it. And Bud it's been steady over 60 for atleast 2 months now here in ohio.

This is a wonderful thing. How lucky can I be to get some purple genetics in a bagseed grow? I wish I knew this earlier, I would have made clones. Sad that she will be one of a kind, still amazing though.
you can still clone or re-veg the plant to save the genetics if you want.

And u said that seed came out of a bag of reggie?? I guess we. All luck up sometimes
that's what I'm saying man i wish I woulda cloned it...Now I have to buy seeds next year and risk getting busted. Now that I have a feel for what I'm doing I'll actually invest in some seeds. Any recommendations for a seed bank that will deliver to ohio?

You can take clones early in flower and re-veg them. I would.

Vapedup, I grew bagseed my first 2 grows, and it eclipsed the pot the seeds came from. I'm convinced that most pot started out life as decent genetics, just the victim of the "commercial grow" type techniques.

I'm starting to believe the same thing. So you think it's possible, and recommended that I take a few clones from her? I thought it was too late seeing as there are buds being produced now.

Go ahead an take cuttings. Root them the way you want, or there are lots of threads/tutorials on cloning, and put them somewhere warm, under a weak floro/CFL. Use a 24/7 light cycle and keep 'em damp. Don't feed them much, if at all, either. Might take a bit before you start to see new NORMAL growth, but you will eventually. Last time I did it, I still had some pretty squirrelly growth at 90 days!

If ur. Gonna take a clone, take it from the lowest branch possible, as this is were most of the rooting hormone is. (Bottom of plant) the higher u go up, the more growth hormone u get. It will take longer to root since its in flower, but it will go back to vegg for sure
