this looks like a DIY UnderCurrent style setup to me... there is a reason they recommend 2"-3" pipes with it, which is why you have to make weird adjustments to keep your water levels stable. With big pipes you can crank up your circulation pump to ridiculous levels which aerates the water much better to from what i understand...

Since no one else said anything, I will... Check out the thread on Dr Hesseinburgs Tea. Its way cheaper and more efficient than h202. Do plants grow in the wild in sterile environments? Why not add 50,000 different types of good guys to do the a$$ kicking for you. With tea there is no chance of slime outbreak plus it makes your plants nutrient uptake more efficient thus saving even more money.

Im sure the tea is really good maybe ill try on some outside plants. Using H202 for the extra oxygen in the water. But manly for to protect my roots from root rot. or any other bacteria that may slip its way into my precise reservoir ;) lol

Thanx lvtokerr . ill check into Dr Hesseinburgs Tea

I agree. How do I know? because I built one exactly like he did, with all the same size tubing. Doesn't work, because the inline pump pumps water back into the control bucket faster than water can flow back out into the grow buckets.
You have to have at least 2" pipe from your control bucket to your grow buckets. Then use 3/4" tubing to draw the solution to the inline pump, and back into the control bucket.
By using a shut-off valve to control the flow...you are going to stress your pump..and you are reducing your flow.
I found some 8 gal square buckets, and Im going to use 2" uni seals and 2'' pvc. This will let the pump flow full bore.
