you got that right bro... its not even a comparison... The DP is a way better tasting strain.... It also has a very calm and relaxing high.... Very good for evening smoke...

i just bought some seeds from the vancouver seed bank called deep purple but they are from a company called Jordan of the Islands.
the deep purple i have is ( dj short bluberry male X purple kush mother)
the woman at the seed bank told me that deep purple is the only commercially available purple kush cross or strain on the market . does any one know if this is true or not?

smoke is great... has that real purple taste and smell.... super chill high, not very potent... thats about all i will do on the DP don.... the blueberry is absolutly overratted... IMO
Dang thats too bad I like TGA genetics but thats all I hear about TGA strains that its not that potent they allll sounds good tho, I know there some good ones tho I hope.

its not suppose to be potent brudda.... it was made for the purple taste... if you want potent... they have potent bro... jacks cleaner, jack the ripper, vortex are just some of the few that are potent...

I've had other strains that was purple not the potency or characteristics of purple haze I think haze is a totally different strain than the weed turning purple just by growing it I heard that when you keep temps cool some strains will turn purple but ph has its own potency characteristics than just turning purple?? you feel me uderstand what I'm saying I'm high lol

my understanding of "potent" pot is more along the lines of strains that are not purple... actually, ive never had a purple strain that did knock my socks off... im sure the querkle is more potent than the DP, but still, compared to other strains it still wont be as potent... know what im sayin? I wonder how potent the AO is gonna be... I cant wait... If I was you, get a purple strain for taste, and then get vortex or jilly for something that has more of a punch to it... 2cents... by the way, the DP tastes out of this world man... its a very legit purple "tasting" strain.... and it really didnt turn purple due to the fact it was grown in summer with very high temperatures.... Im not after the color... im after the taste... some of the best purple tasting weed as actually been unturned...
Cool Yea nate im def getting Vortex I clicked on sub's website and those strains looks no joke sounds off the chain he explains it real well and I got a coulple threads with ppl with tga gear and half the time the say its exactly what he says it is, yea your right bout the green weed being more potent then most purple but that purple haze from NYC was no joke that is the best high I ever had with taste and potent together but my most potent was def from something green. A friend had AO I smoked and that was real good too

Oh wow that was years ago but thinking it seem like uplifting, uppity something to smoke when getting ready to mow the lawn or do something fun or exciting that seems like it intensify what your doing I have a strain now is for night time feeling relax playing the game or watching Jay leno Crimea blue it dosent seem like its potent when your doing something like the yard or working or thinking but hits you at night relaxing

update boys.... now that the DeepPurple has been curing for over 3 weeks... cracked open a jar, broke open one of the rock hard nuggets... loaded it into my piece... lit my hempwick, and smoked a bowl...
All i can say is WOW, all of a sudden, the deep musky grape purple flavor was obvious, it literally made my eyes protrude from my head.... So I loaded up a fresh bowl for my fiance, gave her the utensiles and she blasted off...
Same reaction.... I said, that is the purple, she looked at me in with doubt, i said that is the Deep Purple, and she said "NO WAY!!" she said, that shit is some purple!!!! and it is... this shit is in my opinion the closest thing to purp urkle in seed form with out a doubt.... rating for the design and idead of this plant 10 out of 10... Sub you did it brudda... you locked down that unique flavor that Ive been in search for... I tip my hat to you... it smokes and grows absolutly positively and with out a doubt, exactly like you said it would.... Now that is real character and class on your part... this is the first TGA strain ive grown and smoked, and let me tell you.... this aint no joke...

This is why I do what I do Nathen, most people don't have access to strains like Purple Urkle and when I started breeding I thought it would be cool and handy to be able to have the old standards like Urkle and Space Queen and rom etc in seed form.
Over the last decade looks like we have done what I sat out to do and that makes me and The Avengers very happy!
