This particular aspect has way more to do with nutrition then anything else. Although I have seen many cool pics of dark purple/black leaves and deep red that were genetic; most plants can get really waxy looking dark green leaves when they are at peak health.

I was just searching this site thinking my plant is drying out or some deficiency, but if it actually means my plant is doing better than ever then you are my man

i have seen the same plant very dark olive green , very shiny like some sprayed gloss on them, very frosty nugs smells like pepper
